Rehabilitation Services

Rehabilitation means reshaping lives and restoring lost abilities after an illness or injury. It means treating the whole person – physically, emotionally, and socially. In rehabilitation, the goal is to return residents to their optimum level of function, so that they may have a better quality of life.

At Villa Maria, residents are assisted in their goals for recovery in a home-like environment by a team of caring and highly qualified rehabilitation professionals. Following an evaluation of a resident’s functional abilities, an individualized rehabilitation program is developed. The treatment program will address areas related to the resident’s mobility, performance of activities of daily living, communication skills, and swallowing function.

  • Physical Therapy
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Speech-Language Pathology
